About Focus Publications

YESTERDAY

Focus Publications was created in 1996 in response to a need for marketing tools that would put real estate professionals in front of their clients consistently in an informed, professional format. Out of this void sprang Week In Review, a weekly synopsis and highlights of the week's events in the stock market, with an emphasis on interest and housing rates. Five key marketing principles dictated its approach:

Create and maintain a high professional dialogue with prospects and clients.

Produce regular and predictable motivation to make field calls.

Provide prospects and clients with something relevant, informative, and interesting.

Achieve a continual presence in the marketplace.

Develop an environment that promotes business, as a result.

The initial distribution was person-to-person, via messenger, U.S. mail, or fax, and the response that followed was overwhelming. Field representatives saw doors opening and prospects initiating business; the material allowed them to be continually in front of their clients even when they couldn't pay a personal visit. This success quickly spread to other market areas, companies, and professions, and today Week In Review is the flagship for many marketing teams within the Title Insurance, Real Estate, and Financial Services industries.

Soon after, requests came pouring in for more marketing tools that could improve professional-to-consumer and professional-to-professional communication. Thus was born Consumer Focus and Economic Focus, respectively, and the materials were once again met with great success.

As commerce entered the Internet boom, Focus responded with interactive editions of each of its publications, accompanied by interactive content for the clients' Web sites. In December 2000, Market Focus was introduced, a daily publication summarizing how the day's events in the stock and bond markets affects interest rates, along with economic data and a predictive rate watch.

The company's Internet presence soon expanded to offer full-service Web hosting, design, and specialized services. In February 2002, an automated e-mail delivery service was established through which each publication is sent. All of the Web-based products have allowed our clients to serve a larger market with less effort, maximizing their efforts on quality of services.

TODAY

Now, Focus is fully entrenched in a three-fold integrated marketing plan that targets three areas:

In the field: via newsletters (Week In Review, Economic Focus, Consumer Focus, and Market Focus)

On the Internet: via Web pages (existing or Focus-created)

Via e-mail: through automated delivery

The chief objective continues to be providing the finest marketing materials available to improve the clients' effectiveness in the field. As a market-driven company, most of the resources offered are in response to the clients' needs and input. Focus is proud of its clients' success and is committed to their continued success.

TOMORROW

In an effort to constantly improve, a number of dramatic and comprehensive interactive features will soon be added to the Internet links. Additionally, the libraries and archives are ever expanding to include the most interesting and current resources available.
